Welcome to the Idiom Download

This download is made available to enable prospective Idiom users to experience the Idiom Decision Manager without obligation prior to release of our new product, 'Idiom Lite'. Idiom Lite is a free version of the Idiom Decision Manager that excludes source code generation. Idiom Lite is targeted for general availability in February 2010. Please read our Product and Benefits statement.

Source code generation is provided for Idiom Lite via a SaaS model (expected to be in the order of $USD1 per 100 lines of code for the initial generation, and $USD1 per 1000 lines of code per subsequent generation of the same decision model - this pricing is indicative only and may change prior to our go-live date). Alternatively you can elect to purchase a generator for use with Idiom Lite, or purchase a full copy of the Idiom Decision Manager. This download requires Registration. This download is an introductory version that includes a full copy of the Idiom Decision Manager that is enabled for 3 months only. At the end of that period it will expire. Any code that you generate using this version of the product is entirely independent of the Idiom Decision Manager and may be used by you in perpetuity.

In order to continue using the Idiom Decision Manager after expiry of this introductory period, you will need to acquire our new product, Idiom Lite. This product version will offer substantially the same features, and will enable you to continue developing and maintaining your existing decision models. However, in order to generate source code, you will need to utilize our new remote generation service.

You will shortly be able to access our new Knowledgebase which is full of tips and techniques to assist you to get maximum advantage from Idiom. Our experience is that a competent analyst will define models that implement critical business decision making at a rate that is equivalent to writing 500 lines of tested code per hour. We look forward to joining you in this new, very productive approach.
